I am of Scottish and English origins, with my ancestors settling in Canada in the early 1900s. I am privileged to live, work and play on the traditional lands of the Hul’q’umi’num People, of the Malahat (Malexel) and Cowichan (Quw”utsun’) First Nations. My interest in healthcare was evident from a very early age, though my little sister wasn’t thrilled when I tried to pump her stomach with a garden hose. The first 17 years of my career flew by working as a registered nurse in emergency care in Calgary, Maui and Minneapolis. After a brief foray into financial services, I continued my healthcare path by attending Naturopathic medical school in Vancouver (CCNM-Boucher). I had 10 amazing years in clinical practice in Calgary before moving to Silicon Valley to work on a platform linking microbiome research and artificial intelligence. I returned to Canada in 2020 and am grateful to reside and practice on this beautiful island.

I have been practicing in the nursing profession since 1998 and have completed my Master of Nursing in 2008 from the University of Victoria.

In 2015 I graduated with my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Oregon Health & Sciences University.

I began providing neuromodulator treatments after completing training in Botox in 2011 with the Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics.

In 2022, I began my advanced training for neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Platele Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments, and non injhectable aesthetics techniques with the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine (CBAM).

Since my late 20’s I have been interested in holistic and complimentary health practices, this is what drew me to Wolf Willow Collective.

Over the years I have completed formal training in aromatherapy, natural body care, hypnotherapy & foundational nurtaceutical training.
